Education:
After attaining a BSc. In Chemical Engineering from Germany, I started my career as a junior Corrosion (Cathodic Protection) Engineer. Throughout my career, I was always passionate about sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. Joining the Sustainable Development Master’s programme at Uppsala University marked an important step in translating this passion into another asset to my corrosion engineering career. Moreover, willing to educate myself further and especially within the sustainable solutions encouraged me also to attend and subsequently complete a Bachelor’s programme within Wind Power Project Management. Furthermore, I do hold another two Master’s degree one within Environmental Sciences from the Energy and Technology department at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and another from the University of Gävle this time in Energy Engineering.
Experience:
Parallel to my 15+ years of corrosion engineering career within both oil and gas and reinforced steel structures, I also work, since 2019, as a part time researcher with the Head of Automation at the Energy and Technology department at the Swedish University of Agricultures (SLU). Main fields of research include renewable energies and off-grid energy systems.
Now this is my story, Tellus Yours 😊
